2. Habitat They live near coastlines and around islands and in bays. They especially are found in areas with sea grass beds.

3. Identification Adults are 3.5 to 4 feet in carapace length. The green sea turtle is green and it has a single claw on each flipper. A green sea turtle weighs 300 to 400 pounds.
