3 First…  Opening paragraph:  You should begin with a ‘thank you’ and touch-base upon what you liked about the meeting. For example: You may mention about the people you met and how they were nice to you. You may talk about your observation of people adhering to the company policy that you had so hoped for.  A note: Sound genuine.

4 Next…  Second paragraph:  You may talk about what happened and what things you liked during the course of the interview. For example: You may begin with what you think about the organization’s management principles and what you liked about the job opportunity. You may further elaborate by cleverly weaving your expertise with the requirements of the job.  A note: Be precise.

5 Then…  Last Paragraph:  Reiterate your expertise and you KEENNESS to join. Further, wind up the letter with a nice closing statement that gauges the interest of the reader.  A note: This paragraph should be 2-3 sentences long.

6 Finally…  The signature:  Use a friendly, yet professional salutation like “Best regards,” “Sincerely,” “Many thanks,” or something similar.  If your Thank You is typed, leave a space for you to sign and type your name below.  If your Thank You is handwritten, sign your name and print it legibly below your signature.

7 Write a thank you!  Take out a piece of paper and a pen/pencil  Write a Thank You to the person who interviewed you using the format that we discussed (your packet for example).
