Where is Egypt Egypt is found in the top right corner of Africa. Here are some of the deserts Egypt has, Black desert, eastern desert, western desert, white desert, and Libyan desert. Its also connected to the Middle East.

Mummies When someone special like a king died his loyal subjects would do a process called mummification on the kings body. The first step to mummification is the subjects wash the body in a chemical called natron, then was left to sit for 40 days. Then the organs and the brain were removed and put in special jars. Then the the kings body was wrapped in cloth with a death mask. And finally his body was put in a coffin, and stored in a tomb.

King tut King tut was not a very famous Pharaoh but… when his gold tomb was discovered he became very well known. Howard Carter was an archaeologist who discovered King Tut’s tomb.

Cleopatra One of the most famous Queens was Cleopatra. She was the last Egyptian to hold the name Pharaoh though she was not an Ancient Pharaoh

Fun facts Cleopatra had 2 husbands in her life, they were both in different time periods. King Tut’s real name was King Tutankhamun. The chianpump was made and used to water plants… that’s what the scientists think. Cleopatra was the last queen of Egypt before Rome took over.
