2. Yellow fever, also known as Black Vomit, Yellow Jack or An American Plague, is a deadly viral infection transmitted by several species of Aedes and Haemogus mosquitoes.

The CDC has identified 45 counties with a risk of yellow fever transmission, many of them with tropical climates such as parts of South America and Africa.

There is no specific cure for yellow fever. Typically, patients are treated for dehydration and fever with rehydration salts.
Intensive care is needed to improve the outcome for seriously ill patients.

Be aware of peak mosquito hours(dawn to dusk)
Wear proper clothing to reduce mosquito bites.

Yellow Fever and Dengue are caused by the same types of mosquitoes.
Once someone is infected, the virus remains silent in the body during an incubation period of three to six days.
