Bakeware includes pans of various shapes and sizes that are used for baking and must be oven safe Baking relies on accurate measurements and ingredients as much as it relies on the right piece of equipment Bakeware

Cookware refers to items used to prepare meals on the stove top – usually pots and pans. Thick, heavy-gauge metal promotes even cooking and prevents warping, which can lead to accidents. Cookware

Can be classified based on their function - measuring tools, mixing tools, and cutting tools. As a general rule, store all tools in or near the area in which they will be used most. Kitchen Utensils & Tools

Some kitchen equipment is harder to categorize but is just as important! These pieces of equipment are normally larger and will be shared by the kitchens. Other Equipment

As a lead you through a ‘show & tell’ of the different kitchen equipment, please write or draw a picture of the description of the item in space provided. As a class we will discuss some common uses for such equipment. Show & Tell Time!

Match the task/technique with the appropriate piece of kitchen equipment. The Right Tool for the Job!
