Mental Health Resource Nurse MHRN IN THE PERSONAL CARE HOME 5 full time MHRN positions 4 regions within the Parkland 11 Personal Care Homes 544 Personal Care Home beds

Mental Health Resource Nurse EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Psychiatric Nursing Education diploma Bachelor of Science in Mental Health or Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing. Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Nursing with additional formal Mental Health training.

Mental Health Resource Nurse ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY Member of multidisciplinary team. Liaison between the Personal Care Home and external service agencies. Case manager for Public Trustee clients living in the Care Home. Education to residents, family and staff regarding mental health and psychosocial issues.
