3 10 February 20043 Operators Individuals who have control over the configuration and operation of the Doors software Up to 32 unique operators can be defined –Use the scroll bar to scan through the list of operators

5 10 February 20045 Configuration Values One of three configuration values can be assigned depending upon the category Yes – allows the operator to perform this operation No – does not allow the operator to perform this operation Read Only – allows the operator to view, but not edit this operation

6 10 February 20046 Keri Default Operator The Keri default operator is configured to have full configuration rights –There should always be one such default operator –Keri recommends you change the default operator name (Keri) and password (Keri) to ensure system security –Names and passwords are case sensitive

7 10 February 20047 Operator Name Enter the operator’s name –All operator initiated events will include the operator’s name making report reading easier and providing accountability –No more than 15 characters

8 10 February 20048 Password Enter the password assigned to the operator in both the Password and Retype Password fields –No more than 15 characters –Each character appears as an asterisk, please type carefully Doors compares the two passwords, if they do not match, the operator will not be saved

11 10 February 200411 Options Setup Access Groups – allows an operator to create, edit, and delete access groups (Y, N, RO) Setup Monitor – allows an operator to view, modify, and define monitor windows (Y, N, RO) Setup Operators – allows an operator to create, edit, or delete operators (Y, N)

12 10 February 200412 Options Operate Doors – allows the operator to perform the manual door unlocking and locking commands, and to perform the database update commands (Y, N) Output Control – allows an operator to manually control controller output relays (Y, N) Grant Amnesty – allows an operator to manually grant anti-passback amnesty to system users (Y, N)

13 10 February 200413 Options Start Monitor – allows an operator to start a real-time event monitor (Y, N) Stop Monitor – allows an operator to stop a real-time monitor (Y, N) Start Monitor 1, 2, 3 – defines which of the three available real-time monitors an operator is allowed to Start/Stop (Y, N)

14 10 February 200414 Options Event Reports – allows an operator to generate searchable database event reports (Y, N) Doors Reports – allows an operator to generate pre- defined controller parameter and system event reports (Y, N) Exit Program – allows an operator to exit the Doors program, closing it and returning to the operating system (Y, N)

15 10 February 200415 Save an Operator Once all operator parameters have been entered they must be saved –If they are not saved and the Setup Operator window is closed, all entries are lost and must be reentered Click the button to save operator information

16 10 February 200416 Delete an Operator To delete an operator from the system –Select the operator’s name –Click the button –The operator name and password are cleared, and all operating parameters are all reset to NO

17 10 February 200417 Block and Copy Use the Block and Copy commands to give several operators the same configuration and operation privileges

18 10 February 200418 Block Select Click the button Click on the row from which to copy

19 10 February 200419 Select Row to Which to Copy Click on the row to which to copy Click the button

20 10 February 200420 Privileges are Copied Enter the operator name and password information Click the button to save operator information
