Write down your thoughts about one of the above categories. 2. After writing your thought, include a “quote” from the story to support it. Be willing to go back and re-read if you don’t remember or understand!

Reading Comprehension Practice When you include quotes from the story to support your thoughts about what you read, a good writer embeds the quotes smoothly and skillfully into their writing! Not so good I honestly want to know, did Lennie really get kicked in the head? Quote: “He got kicked in the head by a horse when he was little.” Good I honestly want to know, did Lennie really get kicked in the head? In the story, George says that Lennie was “kicked in the head by a horse when he was little.”
