Challenges & Observations Plugins can be challenging o Few offer EXACTLY what we are looking for More advanced mashups require API keys & tokens Some premium plugins look promising and probably worth further investigation (though, for this project we did not have a budget from Patterson park thus we refrained) Next phase: Testing to get real feedback o Do not have the scale to test now UMD - COLLEGE OF INFORMATION STUDIES

Summary A total of 20 active plugins used Tested over 60 plugins Segmented plugins into 4 main components (Slide 6) o Operational o Informational o Usability o Engagement Minor custom tweaks made to support overall goals, etc Evaluated each plugin using 5 main technology criteria o Ease of use (wysiwyg setup) o Frequency of plugin updates o User reviews o Demo sites o Preferably free UMD - COLLEGE OF INFORMATION STUDIES
