Corporate Objectives Targets that a business must reach to achieve it’s overall aim. Common objectives include: Profits Growth Market share Survival

What determines corporate objectives?? Why do businesses have different corporate objectives? Objectives are influenced by: corporate culture (behavior and attitudes within a business) Size of the business Legal structure of the business Well established businesses

Ethical objectives Are targets based on a moral code for the business. Is the business doing the right thing? Should a toy company encourage children to pester their parents? Is it acceptable to use battery hens? Is it acceptable to pay people below the poverty line, if that is still above the average wage within the country? Is it acceptable to take bribes to get ahead in the business world? At what expense should businesses make profits? – labour exploitation, pollution, health..

Dove Real Beauty Campaign The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty is a worldwide marketing campaign launched in 2004 that includes advertisements, video, workshops, sleepover events and even the publication of a book and the production of a play.
