Interesting facts Chinese government didn’t receive any medical help from the UN because the Chinese government insisted not to receive any help from other countries. Shanghai sent 56 rescue medical teams to Tangshan. A major 7.1 magnitude aftershock went 16 hours after the earthquake. The time of the earthquake affected the death toll.
