11. Consider this example... When I first saw Raoul, I could tell we weren't going to get along. He wore a jacket and a tie to school! I figured he was a real snob... Give an example of an internal and an external conflict that might develop as a result of this first impression.

12. Read with a purpose: As we read "The Good Deed," discover how someone who is sight impaired can help those who can see examine the world in different and new ways. Also look for various conflicts that occur throughout the story. Complete the sheet as you follow along in the story.
