The Inventor of the television was Philo Farnsworth. Philo Farnsworth was born on August 19, 1906 and died in March 11, 1971 and lived on a farm in Rigby, Idaho. His parents were Lewis Edwin Farnsworth (Father) and Serena Amanda Bastian (Mother). Philo Farnsworth invented the television tube when he was only 14. The people who helped Philo Farnsworth were: John Logie Baird and Vladimir Zworykin.

The first television was made in 1920 and presented in 1925. One costed $50-$70. It was very expensive in those times. I 1950 it became more afordable. Nowadays it has been modified to actually have sound and color. A avrage 36 inch television would cost: $860.
