Autobiography An autobiography is a book about the life of a person, written by that person. The only person who can write an autobiography about you is you. This is you writing a story about your own life and your experiences.

Autobiography An autobiography can take the form of: A diary A memoir A novel about you own experience

Questions to think about… When were you born? Where were you born? Where do you go to school, what grade? What do you like to eat? What is your favorite T.V. show? What is your favorite sport? What do you like to do? Who are your best friends? Include one thing that only you would know about yourself.

Ms. Ashlee’s Short Autobiography I am Ms. Ashlee. I was born on August 15, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Colonial Christian school in 2003. I am currently a 6 th grade Writing teacher at Monroe County Middle School. I like to eat Mexican food and my favorite T.V. show is “Big Brother”. I like to eat and teach. Teaching would have to be my favorite activity. I also love attending football games.

Biography A biography is a detailed description of someone’s life. It is more than just basic life events. A biography is written by someone other than the person the book is about. It tells about the person’s life and highlights certain events in the person’s life to tell about. It will even tell the person’s feelings during those events.

Biography Forms A biography can come in many forms: A book A film A documentary A blog Social Networking pages (i.e., Facebook, Twitter)
