A serious infectious disease caused by the Orthopox Virus, Varoila. Smallpox has been around for centuries. Disease attacks the blood vessels within the skin. Then compromise Immune System.

originated in Africa and then spread to India and China thousands of years ago. first recorded smallpox epidemic was in 1350 BC. Last case occurred in 1937.

Person to person Mainly by Aerosolized droplets Contact with scabs or contaminated clothing Insects or animals not known to transmit the disease

Anyone can get the disease if your in contact with a person who has it. During first week very contagious.

High fever Tiredness Body aches Backache Vomiting Normally appear one or two weeks after initial exposure.
