WHAT IS SMALLPOX Smallpox is an infectious disease unique to humans, caused by either of two virus variants, Variola major and Variola minor.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS Symptoms of smallpox include : Fatigue High fever Body ache Mouth sores Occasional vomiting Skin rash Excessive bleeding

TREATMENT/PREVENTION Types of treatments : Intravenous fluids Medication to control fever or pain Antibiotics to prevent secondary infections from bacteria Good Nursing care Types of preventions : Vaccine To make the vaccination it costs the government 3 dollars. The cost for a vaccination can be 25 to 200 dollars
