Collect and provide data for audit and legal cases G-7 HR Associate (teamlead) manages a reduced portfolio and in addition handles the day to day work in the team and supervises between 3 and 9 HR Associates/Assistants

Reassignment Prepare, approve and send Offer of Appointment Request and obtain medical clearance Respond to queries from candidate and hiring unit Determine entitlement and process/disburse Travel and Shipment Determine entitlement to and calculate assignment grant Process G-4 Visa Process UNLP Advise on and facilitate the relinquish of US Perm Residency Determine eligibility and add dependents Determine eligibility and enrol in health and life insurance Determine eligibility and enrol in pension Enter all data in ERP system, approve and generate PAF Validate payroll results Issue salary advance if applicable Separation Receives request to separate staff member Send separation formalities letter with necessary forms to staff member Send clearance documents to relevant parties for clearance/action, as applicable. Receives and records forwarding address and banking information in ATLAS/ERP. Authorizes separation entitlements, as applicable. Follows up on separation Cancels travel documents including UNLPs, family certificates and ID passes, as applicable. Sends Pension Fund Beneficiary form (PX) to UNJSPF. Sends After-Service Health Insurance and Life Insurance documents, as applicable, to UN Insurance Unit. Finalizes Time & Attendance in Atlas, for accrued annual leave payment, as applicable. Separation continued Verifies all entitlements and recovers any over/underpayment of entitlements, as applicable (e.g. MHA, Ed. Grant / Home Leave Travel, etc.). Processes /sends copy of approved Separation Personnel Action Form to staff member and relevant UN WOMEN parties. Replies to queries relating to benefits and entitlements upon separation. Sends Final Pay Statement to staff member. Keep a record of retired file Secondment/Loan/Transfer
