6 South America The biggest country is Brazil, where people love to play soccer The Amazon rainforest is in South America South America is a warm continent People there speak mostly Spanish Civilizations: Inca

People in Europe speak over 50 languages! The weather in Europe is similar to North America – cold in the north and warm in the south Civilizations: Greece, Rome, Middle Ages

10 Asia Asia is the largest continent, and it has the most people – it is very crowded in some parts of Asia! China is one very big country in Asia Giant Pandas live in China and eat bamboo A cool place to visit in Asia is the Great Wall of China – it is the largest structure ever built by man Civilizations: Han, Zhou, Chang, etc

20 The Oceans Around 75% of the Earth’s surface is covered by oceans.
Oceans are frequently used as a means of transport with various companies shipping their products across oceans from one port to another. The largest ocean on Earth is the Pacific Ocean, it covers around 30% of the Earth’s surface. The Pacific Ocean’s name has an original meaning of ‘peaceful sea’. The second largest ocean on Earth is the Atlantic Ocean, it covers over 21% of the Earth’s surface. For starters, did you know that 94 percent of life on Earth is aquatic? That makes us land-dwellers a very small minority. The deep sea is the largest museum on Earth: There are more artifacts and remnants of history in the ocean than in all of the world’s museums, combined. We have only explored less than 5 percent of the Earth’s oceans. In fact, we have better maps of Mars than we do of the ocean floor
