2 Opening Starts out with actor dancing. Music—Beenie man "Beat of the ghetto." Medium shot! Student stops and looks at the camera then says, "I wonder how reggae music started."

3 Voice over Scene 2: has images of the two Soundsystems of the time. "Jamaican music first when two Soundsystems, Clement "Coxsone" Dodd and Arthur "Duke" Reid, was competing with each other for the top spot." "Coxsone and Duke had local Jamaican singers do covers of R&B hits for the Soundsystems, dub plates, that would be specific to each Soundsystems.

4 Scene 3: Voice over "When Jamaica received there independence in 1962 the music became happy and face past to reflected the mood of the people. Millie Smalls had the first Ska hit.

5 Scene 4: Medium shot of actor "But how did it change to Reggae?"

6 Scene 5: Dancehall When the people got over the hype of the independence and realized that were still poor, the music, again reflected the times, the baseline slowed down and got deeper while the lyrics became socially concerned.

7 Scene 6: Actor ask... So how did reggae turn in to what it is today?

8 Scene 7: Dancehall In the 70's radio talk shows from Miami could be heard in Jamaica. The DJ's would talk over the instrumentals of the day. Back in Jamaica local DJ's began to mimic this style of talking over instrumentals. However, they would rhyme and go to the beat This gave birth to Dance hall music.

9 Scene 8: The end Actor says, oh so that's how it all began then proceeds to continue dancing...

10 THE END Fade out while welcome to Jamrock plays...
