Tips for lowering fat intake: Choose lean cuts of meat Trim meat & poultry and remove skin Grill or broil meat (fat will drip off) Substitute low fat dairy choices Choose lower fat foods for breakfast Eat fewer deep fried foods (ie. fries, doughnuts) Limit portion sizes Skim fat layer off soups and stews Limit high fat snacks
