Some facts about the „T-Rex” „Tyrannosaurus” comes from the greek word meaning „tyrant lizard” and the word „rex” means king in latin. Tyrannosaurus Rex is mostly known as T-rex. The T-rex was a carnivore as most of the dinosaurs that lived.

It’s appearance The T-rex meausured up to 13m (42 feet) in lenght 4m (13 feet) at the hip and could weight up to 7 tonnes!

Tyrannosaurus Rex had two tiny arms that were extremely powerful and had two little fingers with claws at the end. Despite that whole world is laughing at his short arms and creating memes about it

The diet The T-rex mostly fed on other dinosaurs (mostly on herbivores such as the Edmontosaurus and Triceratops) It grew incredibly fast and ate pounds (lb) of meat at a time. It had to hunt other dinosaurs and kill them to to eat. Some T-rexes also fought each other for food they found.

Where and when did it live The T-rex lived in the area that is now known as western North America and in Asia The T-rex lived in the late Cretaceous Period, around 66 million years ago.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in forests where it’s pray (herbivores) could find lots of food.
