The Importance of Experience & History Gordon Whittier (Scott’s Father) Started a Moulding Company in Redmond, Oregon in 1952. This Facility Employed 500 people. 23 Years of Extensive Experience was Learned and Passed to Succeeding Generations. In 1975, Whittier Wood Products Incorporated in Eugene, Oregon. Peak Employment Grew to 550 Employees. Learning and Experience Continued for an Additional 30 years. During this Time, Whittier Accumulated 53 Combined Years of Wood Working Experience Whittier has Maintained Key Relationships with Global Suppliers for many Years and has Vast Raw Material Procurement Experience. We have Extensive Experience with MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and LEAN (Toyota Production System) Manufacturing Systems. Whittier has an Expansive Customer Base Throughout North America and Several International Locations.
