T-Joint A T-joint weld is a joint formed when the edge of one piece is welded to the surface of another piece at a 90 degree angle.

Lap Joint A lap joint is a type of joint between two overlapping metal parts in parallel planes.

Butt Joint A butt joint is a type of joint between two metal parts that lie in the same plane.

Oxygen Acetylene An oxygen acetylene weld is a welding process created with the help of gases. Coalescence occurs when an oxygen flame mixes with acetylene gases when ignited.

Arc Welding An arc weld is a welding process that uses the heat generated from electricity to melt filler metal and base metal to form an airtight weld.

Mig Welding A Mig weld is a welding process in which a bare wire electrode and inert or active shielding gas are fed to the weld through a welding gun.
