Article #2  Germany has had a long history of its love for crime fiction, dating all the way back to 1730.  The first mystery novels were actually based off from real crimes.  German crime novels’ plots are often critically judged for their simplicity.  Crime fiction is so popular that children have their version of it.  Germans have adapted numerous of mystery books into television and radio shows.
