2. When did the Underground railroad begin ?
The Underground railroad ran in the late 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century.
It started in Louisiana and helped slaves escape to Canada
It lasted from to 1860

3. Who helped in the underground railroad
Harriet Tubman was a major part in the underground railroad
Some people that were white actually helped in the underground railroad
South lost over 100,000 slaves from 1810 to 1850

4. How did the Underground railroad affect the civil war ?
The underground railroad affected the civil war because many slaves escaped and joined the north and decided to fight with the north which gave the south a disadvantage in the war because they would not have that many people fighting on their side
