2. BRAZIL Brazil produces lot’s of renewable energy sources, such as biofuel, solar energy, wind power and is developing technologies such as solar water heating. They support and attract foreign investment into solar energy as well. Biofuel is an oil produced by sugar cane, corn or vegetable oils etc. The goal or purpose of biofuel is to possibly replace fossil fuels, which we will eventually run out of.

3. SPAIN  Spain imports most of their energy, although wind power has become their largest source of electricity. Some Spanish are also building turbines and installing wind farms internationally. Turbines are a machine that transforms rotational energy from a fluid into usable energy.

4. GERMANY Germany has made a huge difference because they have pledged to clear out all of their nuclear power plants by 2022. It is the only country to project a protest to clean energy investments. They produce lot’s of renewable energy sources such as wind, biomass and solar power. Over the country there are more than 23,000 wind turbines, which is 357,000 square kilometres.

5. CHINA  Research shows that China is the world leader in clean energy investments. In 2013 China spent $54 billion in investments for renewable energy sources. They are well above the total amount of money that the United States invested, which is $36.7 billion. Most people believe that the United States are in the lead but some of the websites I’ve visited say that China is way in front. But because China is a country that doesn’t really have clean air, so I’m not so sure that this is true.
