3 Kindness is being nice to others and treating them how you want to be treated.  Kiley

5 Kindness is being polite, respectful, and having feelings for others.  Mason B.

7 Kindness is being nice to people even though they are not nice to you.  Kara

9 Kindness is being polite or helping without being asked.  Livy

10 Kindness is a small thing that can be done easily, but can make a big difference in people’s lives. Sydney N.

24 We asked some kids to share a time when someone was kind to them.

25 One time someone put my chair up for me, and it made me feel good. Sammy

26 My sister let me have more time with the toy we were sharing, and it made me feel happy. Jaimee

27 I was alone, and Luca came up to me and said, “Let’s play.” It felt good. Cody

28 Someone really hurt my feelings, then my friends came and asked me what was wrong? I told them what happened, and they helped me feel better. Sydney

29 I was playing on the monkey bars, and my brother and his friend helped me up. I wanted to say thank you, and I felt really good. Julia

30 I was at recess and I fell. My friend, Daniela came running to help me. I felt like I was rescued by my friend.  Juliana

31 My friend came over to hang out. She helped me clean my whole room. It made me feel like I had someone who really cares about me.  Kaylee

32 We were doing an art project, and we dropped our colored pencils. One of our kind classmates helped us pick them up. Even such a small thing can make a big difference.

33 Last year I didn’t have many friends because I was teased. Then another girl decided to be kind to me. I was so much happier after that, and I really appreciated it. Alissa, Josie

53 It makes me feel great when I help someone. That feeling is awesome to have. It makes me feel like I did my good deed today. Ernie

54 When I’m kind to others it feels good because they always return the kindness back by showing kindness to me. Juliana

56 It makes you feel good because you made another person smile. It also helps your reputation. Abby, Kamile

57 You feel good inside because you know that you have helped or made others feel good. So, it ends up with both people ( the one being kind and the kindness receiver) happy.  Vania, Kaitlyn

59 Be a part of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Dream

60 Look for kindness in others. Write a note about each act of kindness you see. Give these notes to your teacher. Post them, and count them.

62 Our goal is to reach 100 acts of Kindness in each classroom by February 14 th, Valentine’s Day.
