3 Places to Go  Lewiston once had its own Amusement park.  It was Island Garden !

4 Suspension Bridge  You had to cross the Androscoggin River on a Suspension Bridge to get to the Amusement Park.

5 Island In The Androscoggin River  The Island Garden Park was located on an island. The park burned down and was never rebuilt.

6 Trolley Instead Of City Buses  Before Lewiston had buses, it had Trolley cars !

7  People once traveled by passenger train.  Here comes the Yankee Flyer!

8 Railway Travel  The Grand Trunk Station saw a lot of trains come and go bringing many French Canadian settlers to Lewiston.

9 Steam Powered Car  The Stanley Steamer was made right here in Lewiston.

10 Horseless Wonder  Do you think the local car dealers would like these mechanical wonders?
