Suicide Statistics Suicide is the third leading cause of death for people between that ages of 15 and 24. 10%-15% of all adolescents attempt suicide. Between 50-150 suicide attempts are made for every completed suicide 1950- 4.5 out of every 100,000 committed suicide 1990- 13.2 out of every 100,000 committed suicide Milsom, A. (2002).
