PLOT SLIDE: Identify two climactic events in The Odyssey. 1. SUMMARIZE each event. 2. EXPLAIN how each event served as a climax in the epic poem. 3. ANALYZE how each event positively or negatively impacted plot and characters in the epic poem.

SETTING SLIDE: Identify the most important setting in The Odyssey. 1. Select a quote from the text which most clearly illustrates the setting you chose. 2.
