Letter or symbol E.g. –letters of the alphabet, String An array of characters E.g. a persons name Numeric Integers, Reals, etc. Aural Pertaining to hearing e.g. Morse Code, Musical Notes Visual e.g. fingerprints Musical Symbols and Notation E.g. Clefts, etc.

Class Activity Examine each source of information and identify the advantages, disadvantages and a scenario in which the use of the source is most appropriate in gathering information.
