3 The Emperor's Egg Martin Jenkins writes for both children and adults. He is a conservation biologist. He travels to rain forests and mountains. Unlike the penguins in The Emperor's Egg, he dislikes cold weather. Martin Jenkins is very interested in science and art. He wrote a pop-up book called The Art of Science.
