Level ingredients with a straight edge

Use wide-mouthed containers

Avoid spills — don’t hold spoon over other ingredients when measuring

Easy to “wrap” for gifts in canisters or canning jars

For every 4 to 5 jars … ¼ yard (9 inches) of material

Cut fabric circle so it hangs down about 2 inches from jar top – trace around a pie plate or other circle Under lid band Over lid band (rubber band holds fabric)
