WHO IS THOMAS EDISON? Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. He was know as the “quintessential American inventor” for inventing “the phonograph, the transmitter for the telephone speaker, an improved light bulb, and key elements of motion-picture apparatus, as well as other bright inventions. He also created the world's first industrial research laboratory.” “Edison died on October 18, 1931, in West Orange, New Jersey.” (Thomas Edison Biography) Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. During the 19 th Century, the American Industrial Revolution went on where America emerged as a major industrial power and it development economically. This happened because of the many benefits they had. One of them was improvements were made to industrial processes; which brings in Thomas Edison. (About.com)

AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION & THOMAS EDISON Thomas Edison did not only create great inventions he also set up the first electrical power distribution company, & he created companies which benefited us. According to LucidCafe.com; “Edison was also a good businessman. He not only designed important new devices, he created companies worldwide for the manufacture and sale of his inventions. Along with other manufacturing pioneers of his era, Edison helped make the United States a world industrial power.”

Thomas Edison created many things that impacted the world such as Lightbulb (“which would revolutionize indoor lighting and forever separate light from fire” [pbs]) Etc He also began manufacturing his inventions which brought jobs during the industrial revolution Inventions helped americans to live a bettter life. WHAT WOULD OF HAPPENED IF THOMAS EDISON DID NOT PLAY HIS PART DURING THE REVOLUTON?
