6. WHAT IS A MIR? Minor Incident Report Used to communicate with family Sample infractions: inappropriate language, continual calling out, refusal to work, unsafe or rough play, minor disruption, disrespect, non-compliance, etc.

7. WHAT IS AN ODR? Office Discipline Referral Used to communicate with family Sample infractions: aggressive physical contact/fighting, property destruction, threats, theft, chronic MIRs, student/staff harassment, etc.

9. COLT COUPONS Any staff member may give students a coupon for displaying respect, responsibility, or being safe Students can also give other students or staff members coupons Children take one copy home and the other goes in a grade level bucket Random drawings every other Friday

10. SPONTANEOUS GREEN ZONE AWARDS Random opportunities to celebrate students currently on green in the classroom Opportunity to talk/reteach yellow and red students
