2.  What typical characteristics of short films, were featured in the two films you watched in the last lesson?  List two ideas within film language (mise-en- scene etc) from these films or others studied, which you would like to take forward in your own short film (3 mins)

3.  You will watch a series of trailers advertising the Raindance film festival. (15min)  Consider the following: What is it’s identity/ brand? What is it’s purpose? What key ingredients to a good short film are they advertising?

5.  TASK 3- Open up a new blog using wordpress (see help sheets if you cannot remember)  Write your first entry- what short film research have you done in and out of class? ( you should set the scene, ready for discussion about your own short film) Create a link to your prezi presentation.  What ideas do you have for your own film? What particular scenes or techniques from short films you have seen in class, have inspired you?
