What is a Pharmacist?  Health professional who dispenses medication  Trustworthy expert in medicine and its side effects  Compassionate guide who consults patients on how to properly take the medication  Community leader who build close relations with doctors and other members of the healthcare and general community

4. Why choose Pharmacy as a career?  Several fields in pharmacy  Not just over-the-counter  Not a boring, anti-social job  Come learn more about the field of pharmacy by JOINING OUR CLUB !

6. What is our Mission?  PPS at UCI provides a social environment in which it encourages students interested in Pharmacy to thrive as competitive applicants and as student leaders. We offer tools necessary to approach the field with confidence through presented information (general insight, academic requirements, healthcare industry, etc) and possible hands-on experience (volunteer, internship, jobs). With the use of guest speakers, field trips, community service, and networking opportunities, this organization engages the aptitude of students, and helps them decide whether or not to pursue the field of Pharmacy.

Requirements to be a Member  All years and majors welcome!  Anyone with an interest or desire to learn  Anyone who wants to meet new friends !  Membership fee of $15/quarter or $30/year :  Covers club t-shirts, giveaways, guest speaker gifts and parking, smart-classroom equipment, room reservations.  Partially covers the costs of field trips and quarterly projects (not entirely)

8. How to be a Member  Submit the Membership Application Form !  Attend general meetings !  Go to after-event socials !  Pay membership fees !  Participate! Engage ! Learn! Be active !  Hang out with us!

What pharmacy program(s) interests me? The application process with PharmCAS and Pharmacy School presentations
