Before we go… Let’s not forget the educational value of gaming technology Many educators are now using strategy and skill based games as part of their curriculum Using gaming technology as part of your educational desktop adds a nice edge of diversity and is a keen way to keep students interest levels high As discussed in the previous session – Microsoft has many of these games to download as trials Some Australian schools are using such games as Flight Simulator as part of their curriculum to teach skills such as co- ordination, navigation, weather, mechanics and of course - flight skills
