How do you tell time to the nearest five minutes?

In this lesson you will learn how to tell time to the nearest 5 minutes by using both an analog clock and a digital clock.

Let’s Review We know that the hands move clockwise around the clock as time passes. Hour hand moves slowly Minute hand moves faster than the hour hand clockwise

We also know that it takes 1 hour for the hour hand to move from one number to the next and 1 hour for the minute hand to move from the 12 all the way around the clock back to the 12 again. A little past 9 o’clock Almost 5 o’clock

We know that there are two sets of numbers on a digital clock. The first set is the hour. The second set is the minutes.
