2. The Czech republic is the heart of Europe, it lies in the centre.

3. Prague The capital city of the Czech republic is Prague. There live more than 1 000 000 people. Prague is one of the oldest cities in Europe.

4. Karlštejn Karlstejn is the castle from the 14 th century located near Prague. The emperor and king Charles IV. built it for the crown jewels, but nowadays crown jewels are in Prague. It is said that women weren´t allowed to enter the castle so all housework was done only by men.

5. Czech Krumlov This city is under UNESCO. This city is in the south of Bohemia. This city has very interesting history.

6. Krkonoše Krkonoše are our highest mountains. Many tourists go to this region relaxing, skiing and watching beautiful nature. There are beautiful slopes for skiing.

7. Sněžka Sněžka is the highest mouintain in the Czech republic, it measures 1.602 m. This mountain lies in Krkonoše (in the north of the country).

8. Czech Switzerland Is the national park of the Czech republic. Czech Switzerland is also under UNESCO.

9. Villa Tugendhat This villa is under UNESCO bulit in 1930. Villa is situated in the second largest town of the Czech republic – in Brno.

10. Františkovy Lázně Frantiskovy Lazne is a city in the west of the Czech republic. There is a lot of spa and healthy springs. Lot of turists go there.

11. Koněpruské jeskyně The Koneprusy caves The Koneprusy caves are near Prague. They were discovered in 1950. Limestone is mined there.

12. Veltrusy Veltrusy is a small town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated about 25 km north of Prague on Vltava river. It has very large and nice park with exotic plants and trees.

13. Abyss Macocha The Macocha Abyss also known as the Macocha Gorge, is a sinkhole in the Moravian Karst cave system of the Czech Republic located north of the city of Brno, near the town Blansko.
