7. New WIA Certification Policy Instruction must still result in a recognized credential –Credentials Exclude: Certificates of Completion Course credit

8. Certified Course Location Under the course tab on Flags will look the same for courses and programs

9. MnSCU criteria for non-credit course certification (DRAFT) 1)This course prepares students to successfully achieve an industry recognized credential. Examples include: AWS, MSSC, A+, Microsoft, 2)This course prepares students to successfully achieve a state license for a given industry. Examples include: LPN, RN, CNA, Real Estate, CDL 3)This course results in an industry recognized credential. Examples include: Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, CDL (if part of course requirement)

10. MnSCU-DEED Course Certification Process (DRAFT) MnSCU will collect non-credit credentialed course information MnSCU will send a list of WIA certifiable courses to DEED and ISEEK These courses will appear with a WIA flag on ISEEK *MnSCU will perform internal audits of non-credit credentialed instruction to ensure quality
