Location Quebec is the largest of the 10 provinces in Canada. Quebec is bordered by Nunavut, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. Quebec

Capital City Quebec’s Capital City is Quebec City. It’s population is about 671,900. Quebec City is the 4 th largest Capital City. In Quebec people speak English; they also speak French.

Fast Facts Quebec’s national flower is the White Lilly. Quebec’s national bird is the Snowy Owl. The national tree is the Yellow Birch. White Madonna Lilly

Population There are about 7,100,00 people in Quebec. Montreal is Quebec’s largest city. Most of the people in Quebec prefer to live in cities and towns near the St. Lawrence river. 133,000 native people and 7,000 Inuit people live in Quebec.

Industry Quebec has very large hydro-Electric power plants near James Bay. Quebec makes and stores most of Canada’s electricity.

Resources The Canadian Shield is made of minerals and metals and Quebec is a part of it. Gold, copper, silver, zinc, nickel, asbestos, and iron ore are Quebec’s minerals and metals.
