2 List and explain 4 major reasons why the colonists defeated the British in the Revolutionary War?

3 1. Better leadership Colonial leaders made better adjustments and were not cocky

4 2. Foreign aid to help the colonies
France and Spain helped the colonies

5 3. Knowledge of the land British could control the coasts but not the inland

6 4. Colonial motivation Colonists were fighting for their families and property
