Paper Airplane Project By Sebastian Cave and Asher Ardron

What and Why? We are taking a default paper airplane (if we kept testing different airplanes there would me way too many variables), then changing a certain variable to see how much it affects the distance, then make a Weebly website to publish our results. Our Variables: 1. Wing Hole-Punched 2. Large Hole in Wing 3. Weight in Front 4. Weight in Back 5. Crumpled Wing 6. 2 Pencils In Plane

Wing Hole-Punched Large Hole in Wing These variables are exactly what their titles say. For the hole punch, we simply hole punch the wing. For the large hole, we will make a hole around the size of a golf ball in the wing of the plane

Weight in Front Weight in Back Like the first two variables, these are also simple. We will put a weight of half a gram to a gram in the front or back of the airplane to see how it effects the flight.

Crumpled Wing Pencils In Plane For this variable, we will test a plane with a single crumpled wing. We will also put 2 pencils inside the body of a plane, and see how it flies.
