Introduction (I) A. Motivation 1. Our teammates experienced the bullying and felt despaired. 2. Limber: Bullying can affect not only the victims and the bullies, but also the climate in the school. B. Purpose 1. To define the bullying 2. To find out the most common in the school 3. To find out the link between interpersonal relationship and chance of being bullied 4. To find out what do people react to the bullying 5. To find out what prevention can be used

Method A. Participants : 296 students whose ages range from16 to 18 a. victims: participants who ever suffered from being bullied b. others: participants who never suffer from being bullied B. Instruments: questionnaire having 3 parts, including 23 questions

A. Definition Bullying is defined as aggressive behavior which involves: 1.unwanted and negative actions 2.a pattern of behavior repeated over time 3.an imbalance of power or strength

A. Types (I) The Kinds of BullyingDefinition 1. Physical bullyingPunching, kicking and pushing 2. Verbal bullyingSlanderous statements 3. Relationship bullyingIsolating victims from others 4. Retaliatory bullyingVictims release their oppression by bullying others. 5. Sexual bullyingSuch as calling other “sissy”……etc. 6. Cyber bullyingBullying others through Internet

B.1 About Victims: Interpersonal relationship → 1.Victims tend to be not good at making friends. →2. Peer groups is vital for high school students.

B.2 Reaction to the bullying: When Bullied: → 1. Telling teachers is the most way. → 2. Victims tend to be silent when others being bullied.

B.2 Reaction to the bullying: After Bullied: → 1. Telling teachers is the best to deal with bullying. → 2. Teachers have to be aware of students’ dangerous condition.

B.3Prevention & Reduction In Family 1.Family has great effect on personality. 2. Parents should: a. enhance parenting education b. set an appropriate discipline c. concern about the kids’ interpersonal relationship

B.3Prevention & Reduction In School 1. to help children develop good skills in interaction 2. to create a friendly climate for students 3. to build anti- bullying program with parent, teacher, and community support

Conclusion 1.Paying more attention to victims 2.Enhancing victim’s relationship 3. Parents should always be aware of their children’s behavior.
