28 Rotary : End Polio Now 1985 Rotary made a promise to the world –Eradication of polio –1,000 cases every day 365,000 a year 2012 only 223 cases in the world –Endemic countries P akistan, A fghanistan, I ndia, N igeria 2013 India : 27 months (from January 2011) without a case 2013, 18 cases compared to 41 in 2012 www.rotaryinlondon.org
