To study social sciences well, you need to be able to analyze, question, examine, research, interpret, predict, evaluate and draw conclusions using various texts/sources that expose you to the many issues/developments, events and people that have shaped society. Using the following framework will help you develop skills, strategies and attitudes, so that you begin Thinking like a Social Scientist. CRITICAL THINKING FRAMEWORK FOR SOCIAL SCIENCES

1.Read article 2.Review aspects of the critical thinking framework to make sure you understand them 3.Make sure to address all 6 categories by using specific information from the article. 4.To help your analysis you may: 1.ask questions 2.use quotes/information from the text 3.make assumptions in you analysis 5.May be done in point form 6.You may highlight/write on the article 7.Be prepared to share your ideas IN-CLASS ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS – LEARNING GOALS
