Will the State of Alaska be able to fund this program? Will this program decrease DUI’s? Will this program decrease alcohol related accidents?

Affordability Each checkpoint would save up to $50,000 a year. For every dollar invested, six to 23 dollars is proven to be saved.

The figure above shows that Alaskans support having a sobriety checkpoint program. When surveyed, 76% of respondents said that they would vote in favor for a sobriety checkpoint program in Anchorage, Alaska.
