The three blue stripes are the symbols of the original three provinces. The triangle is a symbol, here signifying liberty, equality. The red color is for the blood sacrificed by the Cuban patriots.

Cuba is a meeting point of European, African, Chinese, and continental North American cultures little of the original Amerindian culture survives. See it’s a little different than ours.

President Fidel Castro ruled from 1959 to 2008 and transformed Cuba into a communist state. The Communist Party is the leading force of society.

11. Economy
In the 1950s, Cuba had a extremely unequal economy, with a large capital to foreign investors. The country has made significant progress since the Revolution towards a more even income.

Tourism in Cuba attracts over 2 million people a year. With its favorable climate and beaches. Cuba has been an attractive destination for tourists.
