2 Mission Statement  LAT Fitness provides family- centered, values- focused programs that build healthy minds, bodies, and souls. We will strive to provide the means, expertise, motivation and atmosphere that will enable our members to achieve their goals in all dimensions of health. We believe in open communication within our team to create a positive experience for our members that attempts to enhance self-esteem and encourage healthy lifestyles.

3 Philosophy Statements  Overall Philosophy:  Our philosophy at LAT Fitness is to provide a positive atmosphere through our programs, one on one professional assistance, and friendly staff, which will allow our members to grow, strengthen and maintain all components of health and well-being.  Mind Philosophy:  At LAT Fitness, we focus on a healthy relationship between the mind and the physical body. We will provide experiences through relaxation, meditation and stress management to balance the mind and body, so throughout your day, you feel relaxed, less stressed and able to manage situations in a positive manner.  Body Philosophy:  Our body philosophy encompasses the five components of health related fitness; cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. We provide a variety of fitness classes, an ample strength training facility, and a pool to accommodate our members of all fitness levels and ability. By providing a structured environment, we feel we are setting you up for success, and we hope you will continue to make positive choices throughout the day.  Soul Philosophy:  At LAT Fitness, we try to enhance your soul through a variety of practices such as our rejuvenating spa, our knowledgeable health coaches, and our family based classes. We want to provide a way to increase intuition and sensitivity for members of all ages. After using our services, we hope our members will feel refreshed and ready to take on the day!

6 Scope and Sequence  Relaxation:  To relax the mind and body, we offer a variety of techniques. We will have a group instructor lead relaxation exercises such as self- guided with nature sounds, relaxation music and without music. Members will also participate, and be educated in exhalations exercises, sequential training, autogenic training, progressive muscular relaxation, self-hypnosis relaxation and affirmations.  The Client Will:  Learn techniques on how to reduce stress (I)  Learn proper breathing techniques for relaxation (I)  Develop relaxation skills (D)  Develop proper breathing techniques (D)  Become proficient in self-guided relaxation techniques (P)  Become proficient in breathing techniques for relaxation (P)

7 Scope and Sequence  Kid’s Boot Camp:  If you are looking for a way to get your kids active afterschool, then this is the high energy class for them! The class will include basic weight training cardiovascular exercises, nutrition tips and agility drills.  The Client Will:  Learn basic weight training and cardiovascular exercises (I)  Learn proper form for weight training and cardiovascular exercises (I)  Develop muscular strength and endurance as well as cardiovascular endurance (D)  Develop good nutritional habits (D)  Develop speed and agility (D)  Become proficient in making healthy nutrition choices (P)  Become proficient in speed and agility exercises (P)  Become proficient in performing exercises outside of class (P)

8 Scope and Sequence  Spa:  Our rejuvenating spa will be a place of tranquility for use by all members. We offer a full range of spa services tailored to your needs. Come enjoy a relaxing massage with our certified massage therapist. Designed for both men and women, we specialize in the latest revitalizing treatments. Facials, body wraps, manicures and pedicures are available.  The Client Will:  Learn of the many health benefits derived from spa treatments and therapies (I).  Learn which treatments work best for their individual needs (I).  Develop relaxation techniques during the spa treatments and therapies (D).  Develop knowledge on the different treatments and therapies (D).  Become proficient in being able to be completely relaxed during treatment (P)  Become proficient in the different areas of spa treatments and therapies (P)
